FAQ

All of your Casper Pride FAQs answered here.

When is Pride?

Pride is typically takes  place the second week in June and runs Wednesday through Sunday.

Where is Pride?

You can expect to find our main event, the Casper Pride Festival at David Street Station in downtown Casper on the Saturday of Pride Week. Our other event venue locations vary in the events schedule so that you are sure to find us. Find the event details here.

Are your events ADA accessible?

We strive to find accommodating venues but as locations vary, some might not be fully accessible. Our main event, the Casper Pride Festival, which is held at David Street Station, is accessible with designated ADA parking in the parking lot south of the DSS stage. Other events will have their own unique accessibility considerations. Please see each event description for details and contact us at info@casperpride.com with any questions.

Where can I park at the events?
For the Casper Pride Festival, we recommend the City lot in between David and Ash Street directly in front of Racca’s and Art 321. This parking lot is one block away from David Street Station, there is no charge to park, and it will help you avoid some of the streets around the station that are closed for our event. We also suggest the Parking Garage between Wolcott and Center as it is free on the weekends. Other events will have their own unique parking considerations. Please see each event description for details and contact us at info@casperpride.com with any questions.
What is the bathroom availability at your events?

When working with venue owners, bathrooms are designated gender neutral during an event when possible. We are unable to change the bathrooms at the Casper Pride Festival at David Street Station. Please send us a message if there is an event you would like to attend but are concerned about the status of the restrooms.

How much do the events cost?

We have a handful of ticketed events every year, but the majority are free or by donation. Check out each event in detail to find out whether an event is ticketed or free.

Which events are kid-friendly?

Our main event, the Casper Pride Festival, is the most kid-friendly with a splash pad, face painting, booth giveaways, and stage entertainment. All other events will have the designation in the details. When designated kid friendly, the event will have a PG rating.

Is there security at any of the Pride events?

The Casper Pride Festival at David Street Station uses a local firm for security. We use police presence during the downtown march to help guide the route and block off major intersections. All other events do not use security or law enforcement. We do our best to create trusted relationships with our venues so that you are comfortable in their space.
